Jessie Bennett, aka “Tat Slinger Jess,” is a dedicated tattoo artist with a lifelong passion for art. Inspired by her artistic family, she honed her skills from an early age, attending art school at 12 and later experimenting with tattooing on herself and friends.
Despite facing challenges in securing an apprenticeship, Jessie pursued a decade-long career as a carriage driver in Nashville, gaining confidence while continuing to refine her craft. Her persistence paid off when Tatman recognized her talent and invited her to join his shop, where she has since flourished under his mentorship.
Jessie specializes in black and gray, traditional, and vibrant new-school tattoos, with a focus on fine-line work and floral designs. Every day, she pushes herself to grow as an artist, grateful for the journey and the clients who trust her with their stories in ink.
